This is a small list of good, local riding spots for BMX and mountain bike riders. We've ridden all of them, so we can offer our own opinions and suggestions. If you have another good spot that you'd like to see here, send an email our way and we'll add it.
Ellis Leuschner park- dirt, boardwalk. level: beginner-expert. 7/10
This park is at the top of Erindale park, just north of Burnhamthorpe and Creditview. It has jumps, gaps, and boardwalks. I makes a good mountain bike park, but it's a little too sketchy for BMX.
Mississauga City Center skate park, civic center, and library. level: beginner-intermediate. 8/10
The skate park is small, and located on the side of the Civic Center. the area around has some of Mississauga's best street BMX spots. even for beginning riders, this area is great fun.
Clarkson Dirt Jump Park. level: beginner. 4/10 for poor maintenance
Jumps dug by the city. They're dusty and covered in pebbles. they're not bad to learn on, but once you have a grasp of basic riding, it's better to move on to other jumps. they were lots of fun a few years ago, but the city turned all the gaps into tables. It's located near Clarkson Secondary School.
Iceland skate park. level: beginner-expert. 9/10
Just ride it. It's the best concrete park in the GTA, and it's only competition is Leoonard Linton park out in Scarborough. Awesome rails, banks, quarters, and and incredibly steep bowl.
